A spooky kid from childhood, Rekkah grew up with a love of all things strange and unusual.
Her fascination with the macabre took a sharper turn in the 90’s, when slashers like Scream carved their way into her heart.
Since then, she’s been exploring the genre’s darkest corners with a gruesome and glamorous twist.
Crimson Curse is a shrine to horror in all its forms: from film and literature to fashion, gaming and travel.
Rekkah has a keen interest in dissecting themes of gender and sexuality within horror, with a particular fascination for feminist narratives and the visceral intensity of the French Extremity subgenre.
Rekkah lives in Glasgow with her partner and their pug, Django.
